Emerging Interpreter Series Workshops

The Pennsylvania Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf will host a series of upcoming workshops for recent ITP graduates and new interpreters.
Aug 14th – ODHH Basics – Denise Brown and Benjamin Moonan, ODHH
“Learn about laws specific to interpreters working in the state of PA, and what benefits the Office of Deaf and Hard of Hearing provides.”
August 29th- The Business of Interpreting – Andrea Rehkoph NIC, and Valoree Boyer NIC
“Learn the basics of running a freelance business, tax implications, networking, contracting, insurance, ethics and more!”
September 9th- RID 101 – Christina Stevens, RID Region Representative
“Learn in detail about our governing body, the benefits of becoming a member, and how to stay informed.”
All Sessions are virtual from 6:30PM-8:30PM EST
