The 4 E’s of Raising a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Child

Families will learn about different concepts (Expose, Educate, Embrace, and Elevate) of raising a deaf or hard of hearing child and how these concepts can help them elevate their child’s language growth and identity. Families also need to ensure the educational planning their deaf or hard of hearing child receives is exemplary. During this interactive workshop, these concepts and messages will be expanded upon by discussing evidence-based Clerc Center resources that will help support families’ journey with their deaf or hard of hearing child.
