Penn ASL-Penn Museum Films Second Sunday (October 11, 2020): Ishaare, film on Deaf and Deafblind people in Mumbai

We are happy to announce that Penn Museum Film’s Second Sunday series will be launching their 2020-2021 programming with the film, Ishaare: Gestures and Signs in Mumbai (2016).  This online event will take place on Sunday, October 11, starting at 2 PM.  Following the film, we will have a Q/A with the film’s director, Dr. Annelies Kusters, from Heriot-Watt University in Scotland. From the Wolf Humanities Center and the University of Pennsylvania's ASL Program, this semester’s ASL Lecture, co-presented by the Wolf Humanities Center.
