First Person Arts Story Slam – ASL Interpreted
October 17, 2017 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm EDT
There will be a Deaf Storyteller at this event!! ASL and English Interpretation provided!
The perfect disguise, DIY costume, undercover mission, secret admirer. We’re unmasking the mysterious with real life stories on the theme “Incognito.”
What’s a StorySlam? A StorySlam is more than a storytelling competition. It’s an invitation to share five minutes of your life and connect with a room full of people who appreciate a well-told tale.
Gutsy audience members sign up at the door to tell true stories on the theme of the night: “Incongito.” Of those who sign up, ten storytellers are randomly selected to take to the stage with their most outrageous, heartfelt, and hilarious tales.
Judges, also selected from the audience, determine the StorySlam winner.
$10, $7 for FringeArts and First Person Arts members
Doors at 7pm, Slam at 8pm.
